Delilah is a sweet, loving girl. She's completely housebroken, does not chew on inappropriate items. You will always be safe with Delilah, she will let you know when someone is at the door, but will warmly welcome people in the house when then enter. Currently, she's in a foster home with another dog and a teenage child. She enjoys other dog as a playmate, but she would also be great as the sole recipient of her human's affection. Delilah walks well (not heeling, but not pulling) on a leash with a harness. She's fantastic in the car, eagerly jumping in anytime the door is open, so trail walks or light runs are a great option for her. Because of her current weight, we're not sure what her energy level will be when she's down to a typical size for her breed. Right now she does enjoy the exercise, but just as easily will lie on the couch all day as well. Like all GSPs, she is attached to the hip of her human both in the house and in the yard. She's a great companion, Delilah has so much love and snuggles to give, but needs some attention, care and love in return.
